If you have a Sofa, settee or three piece suite that is looking tired or dirty, then we can help you.
We need to see it first, however. Most fabric covers are much less durable than carpet fibres so are more easily damaged. If someone does not have the experience to deal with different coverings, they can wreck them (and in nearly every case, it’s irreversible).
Over the years we have found that you cannot trust things like labels on a suite.
This is why we always insist on a visit to inspect upholstery. It is impossible to check things during a telephone call. Some fabrics cannot be wet cleaned, or are very susceptible to damage from certain cleaning fluids. Strong chemicals can make dyes run or merge into one another.
How long does it take?
I cannot speak for anyone else but for us it takes about FOUR man hours to clean an average three piece suite PROPERLY from start to finish.
Some will rush and do it in significantly less time but sorry, we will not compromise on doing a careful job.
Let’s face it. You don’t want us to wreck your furniture and we don’t want you to sue us. Most importantly, we put drop sheets down that stop any over spray getting on to carpets or furniture.
We then have to apply a fine mist of the mildest solution possible to the fabric. Which type will have been established during the inspection.
